Poem 8 The Enchanting Igloo

Long long ago when the earth stood still

For one day it was like a moment in time

That captured the heart's of every living

Soul in the great white north where

The legend of Namu was brought

To life where everyone knew the story

About a warrior who was born in an Igloo

Under the great bear star one frosty evening

Namu a Legend of a rare tribe of Inuit

Very seldom spoke of remembers the tradition

Of the warriors tale on how he came to life

On this special place called the enchanted igloo

Mystery sparks romance sometimes and in every

True legend their is always some meaning about

Why we were born In every tale ever heard of

About Namu where the enchanted igloo was found

By a group of explorers off of Sir Martin Frobisher's

Expedition which was funded by Her Majesty

It was as clear as day when they heard a baby cry

Outside the igloo that was well lit up with light

Under the great bear star it was a magic moment

That bear witness to a divine power that was far

Greater than the mind could have imagined

Namu was born and the tribe was chanting his name
