Wednesday night in the vast room--

illuminated in the flickering blue light of the frame-by-frame progression  

We sit engrossed in the midnight feature.  

In the night I see the truth concealed in the day's bright lie

and in the dark it is safe

although I am behind these barriers of brick and mortar.  

The vast process of distraction from calm crisis

is brought to a close when the narrator says it is so.
