Darkness

I was born into the light

But my heart belongs to the night

So far I can't complain

my life has been sane

The night has given me

Many things to believe

it calls to me so softly

it brings me to relief

i stare up at the stars

for hours on end

they draw me closer

to the dreams in my head

when darkness surrounds me

i feel so at home

even though i cant see whats around me

i know im not alone

because the darkness is with me

you cant hurt me

because the darkness it heals me

i finally feel free
