Anger

I spotted you from across the crowded room.

Once our eyes locked

I knew that you had the capcity to change my life

FOREVER

You reached for me and

I surrendered as I melted into your arms.

I allowed you to embrace and engulf me.

You became the focus of my existence,

Never leaving your side.

Until one morning I woke up feeling your lonely coldness.

Knowing in my heart that I could no longer let you control me.

When you reached for me...I retreated

You did not expect my rejection.

At that moment I realized that it was not

security that your empty arms offered.

Slowly, I turned and walked out the door.

You still attempt to haunt me but

I can no longer allow you in my world.

So long, ANGER

Good-bye
